Sports & Community
At the Lido, we work with our local community to make sure it's a special place where everyone can enjoy having fun and feeling good about themselves.
We work with local stakeholders including schools, sports clubs and the Brockwell Lido Users group to increase participation in physical activity and sport within the local community.
We organise events, exhibitions, activities and functions to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Advanced Physio are a group of experienced chartered physios and are able to treat a wide variety of musculo-skeletal problems. They offer a wide range of treatment techniques including acupuncture, manipulation and deep tissue massage. Their emphasis is always on identifying the underlying cause of problems and ensuring prevention of recurrence. Appointments are available daytimes, evenings and Saturday mornings.
Aim High Dance Academy is a Dance school based in London, United Kingdom. Aim High Dance Academy specialises in Street Dance and provides classes at Brockwell lido for ages 3-12years.
The Schools Programme aims to involve children in cultural activities within their local area and consists of two activity sessions within a half day itinerary. Details of a 2014 programme will be released at a later date.
BLU is the only official user group of Brockwell Lido, set up to ensure that Brockwell Lido and the services within the Lido complex are maintained and extended to all users. BLU has worked with Lambeth Council and other local interest groups to represent Lido users as the council changes the way it manages the Lido.
The FANS (Free Access to National Sports people) scheme in Lambeth is available for elite sports people of all ages from Lambeth who currently compete or perform at a national level or County level in any sport recognised by Sport England.

The club was set up after the success of the 2008 Aquathlon. Regular events are held at Brockwell Lido.
