Anthony works as a fitness coach at Southbury Leisure Centre and is a para-athlete. Working and training in the same gym allows him to experience the excellent community feel that you get when walking into the Centre.

At the age of six Anthony was diagnosed with a brain tumour which was then followed by a stroke, this caused him to lose the use of the left side of his body. Forcing himself to get into sport at the age of 16, and with the help and support of his teacher, also join a running club. Never giving up Anthony went on to represent England in the World Championships, winning two gold medals.
The best piece of advice Anthony would give to anyone would be to never give up, and to give everything a go. Even if you think you can't do it, just try.
